ITIL® Foundation

The ITIL Foundation is the entry-level qualification, which offers a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including the links between Lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to Service Management practices

 

The ITIL best practice is composed of five core disciplines:

  • Service Design

  • Service Operations
  • Continual Service Improvement

 


These disciplines represent a service life cycle framework that further enhances alignment to the business while demonstrating business value, ROI and enabling IT to solve specific operational needs.
