ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System

The ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) standard was published in March 2018, replacing the OHSAS 18001 management system standard. Publication of this new standard is part of a broader effort by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to update and align all of the specification standards for the management of Environmental, Energy, Health and Safety, and Quality (EEHSQ).

The ISO 45001 standard provides a robust and effective set of processes for improving work safety in global supply chains. Designed to help organizations of all sizes and industries, the new International Standard is expected to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses around the world.
